Abroad China

Abroad China offers a wide range of services to universities, students, recent graduates, faculty and professionals via our internship and study, service learning, volunteer programs, study tours, and travel planning. With both local and foreign staff, specializing in logistics, human resources, travel services, education and more, we are able to expertly balance the business and social culture of our Western and Eastern clients. Abroad China connects individuals and organizations hoping to gain an understanding of and involvement in Chinese business practices, knowledge of Chinese culture and society, development of Chinese language skills and an appreciation for the many beautiful sights and sounds of this vast and varied country.

AMIGOS is an international, non-profit organization that provides unparalleled leadership and community service opportunities for young people while concurrently contributing to the well-being of hundreds of communities throughout the Americas.

Association for International Development and Exchange

Alliance Abroad Group, L.P. offers customized internship, work, teach and volunteer programs for students and graduates in and outside of the USA.

BUNAC Work Abroad Programs

BUNAC currently offers US students and young people work/travel programs to Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

Center For Cultural Interchange

The Center for Cultural Interchange (CCI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of cultural understanding, academic development and world peace. CCI provides work and travel or internship opportunities for college students in the United States and abroad as well as other short-term cultural exchange programs in the United States and abroad.

Cross-Cultural Solutions

Cross-Cultural Solutions Volunteer Programs, which focus on cultural immersion through volunteering and cultural learning opportunities, are year-round, and normally range from 2 to12 weeks. They have programs in Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Peru, Russia, Tanzania, and Thailand.

Global Volunteers

Global Volunteers is a private, non-profit, non-sectarian international human and economic development organizations. Founded in 1984, Global Volunteers sends teams of short-term volunteers to work on long-term development projects in local communities on six continents. Based in St. Paul, MN, USA, Global Volunteers is in consultative status with the United Nations ECOSOC and partners with more than 200 local organizations worldwide. Focusing on community-driven development, Global Volunteers mission is to wage peace and promote justice through mutual international understanding.

International Education Programs at Jacksonville University

MSU Center for Service Learning and Civic Engagement/Alternative Spring Break

Alternative Spring Break is a student organization dedicated to providing week-long community service opportunities during Spring Break. Students can serve at one of 20 sites, including 9 sites outside the United States.

MSU Peace Corps

The Peace Corps offers college graduates the chance to volunteer in one of 136 host countries for two years. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available, including teaching.

Operation Crossroads Africa, Inc.

The programs of Operation Crossroads Africa are designed to promote understanding of Africa based on the belief that one can truly enter another culture only by living and working in it. Called the “progenitor of the Peace Corps” by President John F. Kennedy, Operation Crossroads Africa has sent over 11,000 persons in the last 48 summers to 40 African countries, 12 Caribbean countries, and Brazil in pursuit of its goals.
